We've had a few visits lately since our first one a couple of ago, the food is excellent, great portions, service very good, so friendly! Found out on our last visit they are very campervan friendly too & welcome people to visit & park out the back. Guinness is also perfect 👌 Didn't take pictures of tonight's meal as we got stuck in but it was delicious, roast beef, stir fry, pictures here are from our last meal equally gorgeous.
Response from the owner
Thanks for sharing your experience and allowing others to know we share our facilities with campervans !

stopped off here after driving to other venues that were either closed, didnt/ had stopped doing food during the early part of the week ( mon tue wed ,some ONLY doing food of a weekend ) and many of them having VERY SIMILAR menus if not exactly the same ' choice' of dish ! which points toward the food offered being " bought in ,pre prepered' rather than home made on the premises .
Reidys is the EXCEPTION serving good quality HOME COOKED DISHES and generous sized portions .
we had the ' roast of the day 'which was beef ,served with fresh mash potato , fresh vegetables and a rich gravy . beutifully cooked and presented without being over fussy , good honest 'home cooked ' IRISH food and not a ' spicey piri piri or chimmi churi sauce' to be seen ! .
with a really nicely presented strawberry cheese cake with cream and ice cream to follow which my wife said was delicious , service was excellent and the owners were very pleasent and helpfull even offering ' FREE OVERNIGHT PARKING ' for customers with campervans and motorhomes . After doing 36 years in hospitality myself i can truely say THIS is what visitors to ireland WANT , decent TRADITIONAL irish food at reasonable prices . maybe the ' tourist and hospitality industry' needs to take a step back and return to this type of service rather than bought in pre prepered NON GENERIC dishes covered in 'spicey exotic' sauces that have little to No bearing on traditional irish cuisene .
